EIT RawMaterials Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS)
The European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) is an EU body that enhances Europe’s ability to innovate by nurturing young entrepreneurial talent and supporting new ideas through the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs). EIT RawMaterials is part of this community and its vision is to develop raw materials into a strategic strength for Europe by boosting competitiveness, growth and the attractiveness of its raw material sector via radical innovation, new education approaches and guided entrepreneurship.
One of EIT RawMaterials main tasks is bringing the RIS regions and countries to the EIT RawMaterials and the EIT RawMaterials to the RIS regions and countries. This will allow all relevant stakeholders from RIS countries to participate in European projects and funding schemes. This presentation will introduce the RIS to all interested parties at MINEX EUROPE 2017.
