Dmitry Klebanov is a business development director at VIST Group (one of the industrial leaders in deployment of Mine Fleet Management Systems) and VIST Mning Technology, he is industrial expert in mining, Ph.D in mining technologies and SME member.
For the last 10 years Dmitry is actively involved in a number of mining automationprojects in Russia, CIS, African countries and also participate in development of Intelligent Mine. The project covers technologies, principles and organisational structure of use autonomous dump trucks and mining equipment in surface mining, parameters of geotechnology. Dmitry is the authors of scientific and practical works, dedicating autonomous mining operations and use of robotised dump trucks.

Within these innovation companies should not only invest in implementation of actual products and software but pay more attention to corporate culture transformation. Lack of digital culture and old methods of management may dramatically reduce an effect of innovations Mining industry often face a lack of high qualified specialist in remote regions but overall connections, robotics and smart sensors enable to make remote operations unmanned. Digital transformation of a mine is a continuous development of mine that should be based on reliable automation, artificial intelligence and upgrading of predictive models and deep analytics.
