Simon Tillotson is a Partner within ERM with over 30 years of experience in integrated water management, site closure, demolition and decommissioning, mine site remediation, soil and groundwater remediation, waste management, wastewater engineering and environmental engineering. Simon has worked extensively on mining related projects covering environmental compliance, permitting, hydrogeolofical assessments, water treatment and closure planning . In a mining context he has focused on the use of water evaluation and management tools to provide advice to clients on water availability and the environmental and social impacts and implications of water use and concepts of privilege to operate. Simon has experience in managing closure planning for mining, manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical companies including the development of closure plans, calculation of financial provisions and the detailing of action plans necessary for the effective delivery of the closure process
